A section of East Market Street was reduced to one lane overnight on Friday and into Saturday morning as crews worked to repair a water line break.
Red Bud City Superintendent Josh Eckart noted that the city utility department received their first call about the water line break around 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22.
“Crews were dispatched for repairs,” he noted. However, he added, “As they were finishing repairs, another break occurred just to the west.”
