Red Bud Officer Stellhorn has retired

A special celebration was held on June 7 at Ratzkeller in honor of Red Bud Police Officer Theodore Stellhorn’s retirement.

Stellhorn officially retired on June 6 after 42 years of dedicated service as a police officer. Over the course of his career, he gave 30 years of service to the City of Red Bud, as well as also serving in the communities of Smithton, Mascoutah and Hecker. He had served as police chief in both Mascoutah and Red Bud.

During his retirement celebration, Stellhorn received his final 10-42 (an officer’s ending for their tour of duty/shift) from dispatch.
