The Royals golf programs participated in one of the five SIJHSAA regionals at Tamarack Country Club in Shiloh on April 22.
While it is not a team event, each school is able to bring four participants for both boys and girls for the opportunity to qualify as an individual to the SIJHSAA State Tournament.
For the boys, three Royals placed in the required top 11 of the 51 total golfers
Eighth grader Dyllan Koudela competed in the SIJHSAA regional at Tamarack Country Club in Shiloh on April 22.
Koudela, a member of the Red Bud Royals golf program, shot a 55 to tie for seventh overall and is the first girl in the program to advance in school history.
