VFW District 14 Teacher of the Year Chair Mick Cohagan recently announced Bill Menn as this year’s district Smart/Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher of the Year for the high school category.
Menn is a special eduction teacher at Red Bud High School.
He received a specially engraved plaque and check from VFW District 14. And the district has sent his teaching package to the Illinois VFW Department for judging at the state level.
