FIRST PLACE FLOAT–Monroe County Electric’s float featuring a lighted lineman, as well as the Grinch and other festive touches, was a fan favorite in this year’s Red Bud Lighted Parade.
With what could almost be described as perfect weather for the occasion, quite a crowd turned out last Friday night in Red Bud for the annual lighted parade and community tree lighting.
This year, there may have been a new record for parade entries with more than 30 participating. Winning the honor of the best float this year was the one entered by Monroe County Electric. Second place went to the Red Bud Lions Club, and Littlebit Cookie Co. took third place.
