On May 12, Randolph County Sheriff Jarrod Peters reported the arrest of Jason L. Merrell, 47, of Wright City, MO, for narcotics and weapons related crimes following a home invasion in Evansville.
In a press release, Peters noted that deputies were dispatched to an Evansville residence on May 4 for what was originally reported as a property dispute. The reporting party indicated that a male subject, identified as Merrell, was attempting to gain entry into the residence through a window.
