The Red Bud Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for May is the Red Bud Area Museum.
The idea of starting a local museum was first presented in 2011, with a board being organized that fall. Following an open house event that November, the board began to accept donations in the spring of 2012. A grand opening and ribbon cutting for the museum was held on July 15, 2012.
