With continued discussions about various renovations for the village hall over the past few months, the Evansville Village Board was able to move forward with replacing the village hall’s roof at their April 14 meeting.
Last month, Village President Kenny Kempfer reported that they were still accepting bids for the village hall roof and gutters. It was also noted that they were looking to get a metal roof, if possible.
So at this month’s meeting, the board had four proposals to consider. Two were for a metal roof and the other two were for shingles.
