Elmer E. “Butch” Sparwasser, Jr., 77, of Waterloo, passed away May 17, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri. The visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, May 22 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo and from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, May 23 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo. The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, at St. Paul United Church of Christ with Rev. Kyle Timmons officiating. Burial will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.
