Pay raises and a contract for water plant operations were among the items discussed Monday night at the Red Bud City Council meeting.
Originally listed on the evening’s consent agenda, Alderman Ben Schwartzkopf asked for the pay increases to be further discussed.
The matter had been discussed at several committee meetings, and then at their April council meeting, approved on the consent agenda was to calculate a seven percent pay increase for city employees.
