Commissioners look at energy options

Energy agreements and retired teachers were the biggest topics of discussion at the Aug. 18 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.

This included an energy contract with Affordable Gas + Electric (AGE) and an agreement with Trane, Inc. for work at the Randolph County Care Center.

AGE Energy Consultant Bruce Wallace, who was at the commissioners’ last meeting, returned with a contract for their consideration. He also brought along Brandon Bullard and Ross Rubenacker to discuss solar options for the county to consider.
