Annual Eagle Fest event a success

Saturday’s weather was perfect, drawing in one of the largest crowds ever for the annual Eagle Fest event held at the Jerry F. Costello Lack and Dam.

“We had the second highest attendance on record, breaking last year’s second place mark with an approximate 811 visitors. It was a beautiful day, and it was great to see so many appreciative visitors of all ages come to the Project to enjoy the event,” stated USACE Natural Resource Specialist at the Kaskaskia River Project John L. Hartleb. “ Hopefully next year will be even better!”
