Vistra shared an update on the future of Baldwin power plant

In the fall of 2020, it was announced that the Baldwin Power Plant would be closed by the end of 2025. However, there is still a future at the facility.

Originally built in the late 1960 and going online in 1970, the plant will retire from producing electricity from coal and move forward as a utility scale solar and battery storage facility.
