COVID-19’s omicron variant continues to sweep through the area, with the number of cases continuing to rise and some additional deaths reported.
Since the start of January, the amount of active cases has significantly increased. It was reported at 181 on Jan. 3 and by Jan. 18 the number was up to 651 with seven individuals hospitalized.
