On Monday morning, Dec. 11, a hearing was held for Dalton Taylor and Tammy Taylor.
Originally, Monday was set as the start of the trial for the Taylors, however it has been continued.
Randolph County State’s Attorney James Kelley noted that the defense had made a motion for a continuance. He added that there is a great deal of evidence in the case and the defense was wanting more time to go over it. “I don’t feel it’s an unreasonable request.”
A final pretrial hearing for the pair will now be held on Jan. 18 and a jury trial is currently scheduled to begin on Feb. 5.
