School board considers ongoing effects of COVID

As it has for much of the past two years, the ongoing effects of COVID were discussed at the Jan. 20 Red Bud Board of Education meeting.

During the meeting, Board President Larry Gielow noted that the board had done their annual evaluation of Superintendent Jonathan Tallman. He stated that the board is very happy with how hard Tallman has worked to keep children in school.

He also thanked the district’s other administrators, Elementary Principal Ryan McClellan, Elementary Assistant Principal Barry Wittler, High School Principal Alan Guehne and Assistant Principal Kevin Cartee, for all of the hard work they’ve also done to keep students in session and the schools running.
