As it is held during Memorial Day weekend, the Rally on the River starts off each year with a Salute to Veterans/Memorial Service. Pictured is the color guard walking down Liberty Street during the salute. The guest speaker for this year’s salute was Red Bud Elementary Assistant Principal and National Guard veteran Barry Wittler.
