The Illinois State Police reported a fatal accident in the Ellis Grove area on May 31.
According to the accident report, at 4:51 p.m. that day, Savannah N. Sunneberg, 19, of Wentzville, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox south on State Route 3. Near the intersection with B Road (Ellis Grove area), for unknown reasons, Sunneberg crossed the center line, causing a head on collision with a northbound 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Amy J. Brown, 50, of Ellis Grove.
