The latest Hometown Hero featured by the Red Bud VFW Post 6632 is Marvin D. Rosenberg.
Born in the Ames area on Dec. 8, 1916, Rosenberg was a 1931 graduate of St. John’s Lutheran School in Red Bud and a 1935 graduate of Red Bud High School. He was drafted and entered the United States Army Air Corps on Jan. 20, 1942.
