The Red Bud Am250 Community Festival will take place this Saturday, Aug. 29, from 8 a.m. to midnight at Lincoln Park.
After more than a year of planning, collaboration and community support, the festival is ready to welcome residents and visitors alike for a full day of celebration, entertainment and hometown pride.
The day will begin at 8 a.m. with a presentation of colors and national anthem to kick off the Red Bud Musketeer Boosters’ Stars, Stripes and Strides 5K. For those looking for a less active start, the vendor fair opens at 8 a.m., featuring a wide variety of food, beverages and merchandise available throughout the day. From pork steaks and tacos to ice cream and coffee, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. The Red Bud FFA will also host a farmer’s market and youth fair from 8 a.m. to noon.
