On the afternoon of Nov. 1, the Red Bud Community Christmas Tree arrived at the city hall park. The tree’s arrival was the first part of the park undergoing its annual transformation into Santa’s Village.
The tree will be decorated on Nov. 12, and between now and then the huts for Santa’s Village will be set up.
This year’s tree is an eastern red cedar, measuring 27 feet tall, and was donated by Ron and Diane Kunkelmann.
