NATIONAL AWARDS–The Red Bud VFW and Auxiliary recently received awards at the VFW National Convention. Above left is Red Bud Auxiliary Buddy Poppy Chairman Bronda Hubler with the award for the Most Outstanding Use of the Buddy Poppy in another VFW Auxiliary Program. Above right is the VFW Post and Auxiliary’s Buddy Poppy display that took third place. Below, Illinois Department President Lynn Smith, at left, is pictured presenting Auxiliary Outreach Program Chair Cheryl Miller with a first place award for Outstanding Performance.
