RBHS celebrated 50 years of volleyball

A large group of Red Bud High School volleyball coaches and players gathered at Ratzkeller on Nov. 30 to celebrate 50 years of volleyball. Parents and friends also shared in the celebration.

Red Bud High School’s 1974- 75 volleyball team made history 50 years ago competing in the first ever IHSA state tournament held at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. This Musketeer team carried the southern Illinois banner proud as they won third place and put their home town on the map.
