Liz Nonn, RN, of the emergency department at Red Bud Regional Hospital was honored this quarter with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.
Nonn received multiple nominations. They read, “She made our time here not only comfortable and efficient, but pleasant. She was incredibly kind and was able to joke with us to distract from painful procedure… I am prone to passing out during blood work, however Liz took the time to calm me down and talk me through the process while getting the necessary samples.”
