ADVANCE TO STATE–Red Bud Elementary School’s girls varsity cross country team placed second at the SIJHSAA Class L regional in Waterloo on Oct. 9. QUALIFIED FOR STATE–Liam Ohlau, a seventh grader at St. John the Baptist Catholic School, qualified for the state cross country meet to be held at DuQuoin on Saturday, Oct. 19. Ohlau took sixth place with a time of 12:03.1. He is the son of Elizabeth Ohlau and Jason Ohlau.
