RB school board thanks grounds/ custodial staff for snow clean up

It was a short meeting for the Red Bud Board of Education on Jan. 16 with the biggest topic of conversation being cleaning up from the snowstorm.

While not in attendance, High School Principal Alan Guehne submitted a written report, which Assistant Principal Erin Legendre shared highlights from. Among them, she pointed out that they wanted to recognize and thank the district maintenance and custodial staff for all their work in getting the school facilities cleaned up and ready for students following the storms.

“They dealt with a lot of negativity about the cold and ice, but they took it all in stride,” she said. “We want to say good job to Shane and his crew and thanks for being here working while others were at home staying warm.”
