An ordinance allowing for a bed and breakfast, as well as a contract for the splash pad were approved at Monday night’s Red Bud City Council meeting.
The bed and breakfast was discussed by the planning commission during a lengthy hearing on Oct. 18.
Matt and Missy Stines had requested a special use permit to allow for a short term rental to operate on Amy Court, which is a residential zoned district. They noted the intent was to open a bed and breakfast as they had seen the need for possible rental opportunities.
