A 911 call made on the morning of Thursday, May 19 prompted an evacuation and closure of the Randolph County Courthouse.
Randolph County Sheriff Shannon Wolff noted that around 8:30 a.m. that day, they received a 911 call stating that there was a bomb in the county’s probation office.
The sheriff’s office investigated the bomb threat and after following up on some leads, were able to identify the caller.
Arrested on May 21 in connection to making the call was Fransisco Pacheco, 41, of Percy.
