Officer Roscow received posthumous commendation

LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMENDATION MEDAL- –Ann and Ervin Roscow are pictured with the medal and certificate presented to them recently in honor of their son, Officer Jason Roscow, by the Lewis & Clark Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution.

The Lewis & Clark Chapter of the Illinois Society of Sons of the American Revolution recently presented the Law Enforcement Commendation Medal and Certificate posthumously to Officer Jason P. Roscow. His parents, Ann and Ervin Roscow of Prairie du Rocher, accepted.

Officer Roscow lost his life Feb. 17 at age 46 in the line of duty with the North Las Vegas Police Department, which he had served for 17 years. The NLVPD reported that he earned its Exemplary Service Award for outstanding performance under challenging conditions in the traffic division.
