Nevois Construction, Inc. started in 1972 in Prairie du Rocher, originally as a Mobile and Modular Home sales and service by Donald “Fuzzy” and Margaret “Peggy” Nevois. In 1976 the business moved to Ruma on the corner of State Route 3 and St. Leo’s Road, which was once the site of the Ruma Athletic Club ball diamonds.
In 1978 they began building single family homes along with the mobile and modular homes. The company also became a general contractor and did their own concrete work, offering panelized and site built homes.
