Last week, an incident involving an alleged weapon took place at Red Bud Elementary School.
On Nov. 21, in a letter to all district parents, Superintendent Jonathan Tallman stated that they “received a credible report regarding a young person, who is not a student of ours, being in possession of a firearm during the junior high basketball game last night.”
He added, “This report came in after the individual had already left the school premises. The police were contacted immediately, and an investigation is currently underway. To our knowledge, no one was threatened during the incident.”
