Last week, a former long time area business owner passed away.
Ronald “Ronnie” L. Candler, 81, of Prairie du Rocher passed away on Friday, Aug. 15.
He had owned and operated Candler Construction in Red Bud for 25 years.
Visitation for Candler will be held on Friday, Aug. 22 from 3-7 p.m. at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud. The memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
