La Guiannee will begin their fourth century of traveling to homes and businesses around Prairie du Rocher this Saturday night.
“They will be singing their French song, seeking a chine of pork and inviting the eldest daughter of the house to join their merriment, sending words of love to their ladies, and wondering about those without lovers. After an apology for their foolishness, they promise better behavior should they be welcomed to return next year,” noted event spokesman Gerry Franklin.
