Donald E. Whelan, Sr., 80, of Evansville, passed away at 1:34 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, April 21 and from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evansville. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Randy Fischer officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Pechacek Funeral Homes in Evansville is in charge of arrangements.
