Recently it was announced that Corbyn Legendre was selected to serve as a member of the Illinois State Board of Education’s Student Advisory Council.
Legendre, who is a junior at Red Bud High School, told the North County News that she is very excited about the opportunity.
The Student Advisory Council is made up of around 20 junior and senior high school students that were selected from districts across Illinois. These students provide the ISBE with a student perspective and help develop education policy.
