A look at the work that’s being done at city hall

HARD AT WORK–Despite there being some extremely hot temperatures recently, over the past few weeks crews have been hard at work doing tuckpoint work on the Red Bud City Hall.

Many may have noticed that there is work being done on the Red Bud City Hall building. But what is being done currently is only a part of the work to maintain and preserve the historic building.

Mayor Susan Harbaugh noted, “In keeping with the spirit of the plaque displayed outside city hall that reads, ‘Today we preserve yesterday for tomorrow,’ we continue our efforts to care for and maintain this historic building. Red Bud is fortunate to have a city hall that has operated continuously from the same building since 1894. We’re proud of its history and happy to show our old friend a little love and attention.”
