The Red Bud Police Department’s annual Cops and Kids at Christmas program had another successful year. This year, the police were able to brighten up Christmas for 18 local kids. After meeting up at Santa’s Village on Dec. 17 and taking a group picture, the police took the children shopping for Christmas gifts. Red Bud Police Chief John Brittingham said that the police greatly appreciate the continued support and all of the financial donations from people, businesses and organizations in the community.
