Commissioners approve pictometry contract

There wasn’t much on the agenda at Friday’s Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting, but the board did approve of a contract.

Up for their consideration was a contract with Eagleview for aerial imagery/pictometry.

Board Chairman David Holder noted that this had been asked for to be included in this year’s budget, but when it previously appeared on their agenda for their Nov. 22 meeting, they didn’t have the cost yet. So now they will include it in next year’s budget.

Assessor Chris Koester noted that this contract is funded by his office and the E-911 Department, and it allows them to see what is on properties.
