Christmas on the River is fast approaching. Chester residents are invited to get in the spirit by decorating the outside of their houses and yards in the most festive and creative manner and to compete in the holiday home lighting contest. People can nominate their home, a neighbor’s, family or friends by submitting an address to the parks and recreation office at city hall by calling 618-826-1430.
Business owners are also invited to decorate their storefronts for a little friendly, holiday competition. Nominate a business by submitting an address to the parks and recreation office at city hall.
