The Musketeers faced the Chester Yellow Jackets in Red Bud’s last home game of the 2025 football season. The game began with Chester taking the ball on their 20 after the ball went into the endzone for a touchback on a booming kick by Musketeer kicker Brayden Koester. From there, the Yellow Jackets marched down the field and scored on a 25 yard run for a touchdown to open the scoring 7-0. Red Bud received the kick after the score by Chester and were unable to move the ball going three and out and were forced to punt. After a time out, Koester sent a line drive punt down field that was picked up on the bounce by the Yellow Jacket’s return man who took it in for a touchdown putting Chester up 14-0. After another three and out by Red Bud, Chester took a 21-0 lead to end the first quarter.
