Red Bud High School Boys Golf Coach Brock Quigley was recently named Class 1A Coach of the Year by the Southern Illinois Coaches Association.
Quigley has been coaching the Musketeer golf teams for four years. This past season he led the boys team to an overall record of 103-48 with a win in the Chester Invitational and Cahokia Conference tournament. They also had eight top five finishes in the 18 hole tournaments including a second place finish in the IHSA regional to qualify for the IHSA sectional.
Quigley also started a junior high golf program at Red Bud Elementary where he is a fifth grade teacher and athletic director.
