Members of the 1975 Red Bud High School volleyball team were at the high school on the afternoon of Feb. 25 for a special event to celebrate the release of the book, “Just Let ‘em Play: Title IX and a Magical Season” by Dave Almany, which commemorated their historic run to the state championships that season. At Saturday’s event, State Representative David Friess also presented a special resolution that commemorated the team’s season. Copies of the book were available, and Almany and members of the team happily signed the books.
