With not much on the ballots, not many voters turned out for the primary election on Tuesday, March 17.
Randolph County reported only 4,195 voters out of 17,812 casting ballots; while Monroe County reported only 5,060 ballots cast. Of those that did turn out to vote, the vast majority did so on Republican ballots, with 3,190 in Randolph County and 3,764 in Monroe County.
