On Sunday, Sept. 28, the Prairie du Rocher School District 143 Board of Education held a meeting where they approved of a suspension for the school district’s superintendent.
Board President Amanda Chandler confirmed to the North County News that the board had approved of putting Dr. Margo Schmitt on suspension with pay.
She added that it was a personnel matter and could not elaborate on Schmitt’s suspension, however Chandler did note that the length of the suspension and the action the board will be taking is pending an investigation.
