A pair of resolutions, an ordinance and a contract were all approved at the Sept. 26 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.
The first resolution was one that is approved annually for the Monroe-Randolph Transit District’s line of credit.
Randolph County State’s Attorney Chris Koeneman explained that the resolution was the same as the one the board had adopted last year, with each of the counties guaranteeing half of the loan.
County Board Chairman David Holder added that they have been approving this resolution each year since at least 2019, giving the transit district a one year line of credit.
The other resolution concerned a national opioid settlement. Holder explained that in order to participate in the settlement, the county would have to pass the resolution.
