William “Bill” Paul Gallagher, 81, of Prairie du Rocher, passed away at 12:02 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 at Oak Hill in Waterloo. The visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22 at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Renault. The church is limited to 20 people in the building at a time. Everyone is asked to please wear a mask and practice social distancing. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, at Our Lady of Good Counsel with Father Daniel Jurek officiating. After the funeral Mass, it was Bill’s wish to be cremated. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Renault at a later date. Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud is in charge of arrangements.
