Walter F. Rowold, 102, of Red Bud and formerly of Chester (Bremen), passed away at 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021 at Red Bud Regional Care in Red Bud. The visitation is from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester. The church is limited to 65 people in the building at a time. Everyone is asked to wear a mask and please use social distancing guidelines. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester with Rev. Justin Massey officiating. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bremen. Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester was in charge of arrangements.
