Very low voter turnout reported on Tuesday

With not many races having opposition this year, there wasn’t a big turnout Tuesday for the consolidated elections, with only 14 percent voter turnout across all of Randolph County.

Among the contested races was that for Evansville trustee, with four candidates seeking the three positions on the board.

Winning spots on the board were Darren Kempfer, Nick Koester and Andria Zweigart; all having received more votes than Scott Stumpe.

All of the other races in Red Bud, Ruma, Evansville, Baldwin and Prairie du Rocher were uncontested.
