Following the roof collapse at Roeslein’s Red Bud facility last week on April 29, Brian Hanger, general manager for the facility, shared a statement with the North County News.
He noted, “We are very thankful nobody was harmed during the incident. There was a section of our main building roof that collapsed due to the extreme amount of rainfall we received around 1:30 p.m. The exact cause is undetermined at this time, but under investigation.
“We greatly appreciate the quick responses by the Red Bud Fire Department, Police Department and city personnel (to) assure the safety of our employees and to shut off power, water and gas.”
He added that part of the facility would remain closed for the foreseeable future and until repairs can be made, however they planned to reopen the remainder of the facility on May 1.
