Check presentations, a loan update and discussions on what to do next with the pool were the main topics of discussion at Monday night’s Red Bud City Council meeting.
One presentation was made by UltraSite General Manager Mike Moll to go towards the dog park project.
Moll had previously presented a proposal for a dog park to be put in at Lincoln Park to the city at the August committee meetings and September council meeting.
At that time, The estimated cost for phase one was around $41,000; however, with UltraSite donating the equipment, they proposed splitting the cost 50/50 with the city for the fencing and mulch. This brought the estimated total for the city for phase one down to $6,500, plus the cost of the utilities and a lime trail. Moll also said that UltraSite was going to hold fundraisers to reduce the cost for the city even further.
